MEET CAPTAIN HARRY

Captain Harry, a native to Charleston, has over 25 years of experience fishing the waters around his hometown.  On his own time he has fished from Canada to Belize.  However, his favorite remains the South Carolina Lowcountry.  He has years of experience guiding a variety of charters including: inshore and offshore fishing, saltwater fly-fishing, crabbing, shrimping, dolphin watching, shelling, photography, as well as river basin and other custom tours.

One of Harry’s well-earned trademarks as a Lowcountry boat captain is his ability to challenge the saltiest of veteran anglers, as well as instruct and encourage first-timers, particularly youngsters.  He is eager to share his enthusiasm for fishing and the outdoors with you in a safe (First-Aid/CPR certified) and responsible maritime atmosphere.

TWO BOATS ARE BETTER THAN ONE



Drum Runner Charters offers two boats to choose from varying on the size of your party and type of fishing you’d like to experience.

Drum Runner, a 24-foot Sea Pro bay boat, is very roomy and stable and provides an excellent fishing platform especially for larger groups.  It is equipped with the latest in fish-finding and navigation and safety equipment.  A t-top provides partial shade for the boat and its passengers.  It can comfortably accommodate up to six passengers.

Miss EmilieMiss Emilie, a 17-foot Silver King flats boat, is designed for stalking redfish on the shallow flats, or chasing tailing reds in the flooded grass.  It will accommodate up to three passengers, with no more than two fly fishing at a time.

Both boats are equipped with GPS technology and depth finders.  All safety equipment exceeds U.S. Coast Guard standards.  Adult and child-sized life jackets are made available.

TACKLE AND OTHER AMENITIES

Captain Harry provides all bait and tackle, including Quantum rods and reels, Suffix monofilament line, Strike King baits, Scott and Temple Fork fly rods and Ross fly reels.  Fishing license and an iced down cooler are also provided.  All you need to bring are snacks, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.
